Job summary

Logos Space in Mountain View, CA seeks a Senior Control Plane Software Engineer to lead architecture and implementation of control plane services across SDN, ground segment, satellites and terminals.

You will design scalable APIs, drive provisioning, telemetry, and orchestration workflows, and collaborate with data plane, platform and embedded teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance systems with cloud/on‑prem integration (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of software development experience across cloud/on-prem and embedded/network systems.
• Expertise in SDN, control plane architectures, and cloud-native design.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven ability to design APIs, distributed workflows and reliable operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SDN, Ground Segment, NetOps and SATOps services.
• Build scalable APIs for provisioning, telemetry, and automation.
• Ensure operation under varying network conditions and failures.
• Integrate control plane with on‑prem and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Collaborate with data plane, platform and embedded teams.
• Drive code reviews, testing strategy and system integration.
• Translate product goals into actionable architecture and milestones.
• Work with product and QA teams to deliver quality software.
