Blue Origin seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build the PoP Control-Plane Network Services, the software layer that manages a dynamic mesh of satellite customer terminals in real-time. You will be a founding member of the next-generation PoP infrastructure team guiding end-to-end connectivity across the network.

You will design highly available control plane services, work with distributed systems and databases, and implement microservices in Kubernetes environments with Istio

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering
• Expert in C++, Rust or Go
• Distributed systems with consensus (Raft/Paxos)

Responsibilities

• Architect the Control Plane with low latency, highly available services
• Build stateful distributed services across data centers and orbital nodes
• Design high-throughput databases for telemetry data
