Job summary
Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Dearborn, MI seeks an Engineer IV to lead advanced control development for power generation and large-scale power management systems. You will design and fine-tune control algorithms, perform model-based simulations, and drive design through validation and production release.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in electrical engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong expertise in control algorithms for power generation and management.
- Experience with model-based design and automated verification.
Responsibilities
- Define precise control system requirements; architect and implement complex algorithms.
- Develop and validate control algorithms for power conversion and management; ensure production-ready code.
- Lead design through validation and release; own decisions from concept to production.
- Mentor engineers and raise team standards; support program execution with technical leadership.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and product teams to optimize for manufacturability and reliability.
- Utilize HIL/SIL, bench tests, and system-level testing to verify fitness for use.
