Job summary

Raytheon in Richardson, TX seeks a Principal Specialist, Contracts to oversee a portfolio of classified government contracts. You will partner with program management, counsel, and cross-functional teams to guide proposals, negotiations, risk review, and contract execution in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Associate Director, Contracts and requires a transferable US government security clearance (TS/SCI). Sign-on and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with US Government contracts administration / management including proposals, costs, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of government type proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Advise senior management on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain regular communication with internal/external leaders and customers on contracts.
• Analyze RFPs, proposals, negotiations, EAC reviews, and contract administration.
• Develop strategies for complex issues requiring detailed data gathering and analysis.
