Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in Boulder to lead development, negotiation, administration, and management of construction contracts across the project lifecycle. You will ensure contracts align with objectives, commercial requirements, and risk strategies while guiding project teams and stakeholders.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with a focus on risk management and contract close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in construction contract management and contract drafting.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, JCT contracts.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure, industrial, or commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer construction contracts and amendments.
• Manage contract compliance, obligations, risks, and change management processes.
• Provide contractual guidance to project and commercial teams.
• Support claims management, dispute resolution, and contract close-out activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure alignment with objectives and governance requirements.
