Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Minerals & Metals USA is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support major capital projects and EPCM programs across the United States. Based in Henderson, Nevada, this role offers a hybrid work arrangement combining office, site support, and remote work, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Reporting to the Procurement & Contracts Manager, you will develop contracting strategies, prepare RFIs/ RFQs, negotiate with contractors, and administer diverse agreements throughout the

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or project services.
• Experience supporting major capital projects in mining, industrial, infrastructure, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
• Full contract lifecycle management from procurement planning to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracting, construction contracts, risk management, and contract administration.
• Experience leading commercial negotiations and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific contracting and procurement strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Prepare and administer RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, commercial assessments, and award recommendations.
• Lead commercial negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers.
• Coordinate internal reviews and approvals in accordance with governance requirements.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalize construction, consulting, supply, service, and EPCM agreements.
• Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor contractor performance, payments, warranties, and deliverables.
• Support project controls through accruals, forecasting, and cash-flow coordination.
• Perform regular site visits and participate in project meetings.
• Utilize SAP and Ariba for e-procurement and contract management.
