Job summary

V2X seeks a Contract Manager to oversee Air Force-related contracts and ensure rigorous cost control, budgeting, and compliance. The role focuses on programs in the Aerospace and Defense Systems division, with responsibilities ranging from proposals to reporting and contract administration.

The successful candidate will manage financial plans, fund usage, and schedules, supervise staff, and liaise with program and government stakeholders to deliver work on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of direct experience managing federal government, state, or commercial contracts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• ERP system experience is essential for this role to manage and track contract data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, analyze, and control financial programs on contracts to ensure compliance with negotiated parameters.
• Prepare budgets, funding plans, and cost analyses to support program goals and schedules.
• Perform contract administration, including proposals, negotiations, and reporting to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Lead and mentor Contracts staff and coordinate with program and finance teams for accurate data.
