Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Contract Manager 3 to lead our team of qualified, diverse professionals to support our Advanced Weapons Business Unit (BU). The selected candidate will report directly to the Advanced Weapons Business Unit Contracts Director and support the Air Warfare Systems Operating Unit portfolio.

This position will be located with our team in Northridge, CA. Relocation package, sign on bonus and schedule flexibility may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10 years related experience, or a Master’s degree and 8 years related experience.
Experience leading a team of direct reports and succession planning to maintain a healthy talent pipeline.
Experience negotiating with government contracts and presenting to management.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel; ability to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership, training, and guidance to direct reports.
Administers contracts and ensures compliance with contractual requirements.
Interprets contract requirements for program leadership and coordinates submittals.
Represents the customer interface and leads contract modifications and reviews.
Builds and leads a high-performing contracts team.
