Job summary

Karman Space and Defense is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage government prime and commercial contracts from award through closeout. You will serve as the contracts point of contact for customers and internal teams, review documents for compliance, and draft routine contractual terms.

As part of the Maritime Defense Systems business, you will coordinate amendments, monitor performance obligations, and assist with procurement terms and flow-downs.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; minimum 4 years of equivalent experience required.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or contract management systems.
• NCMA CPCM/CFCM or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers government prime and commercial contracts from award through closeout.
• Acts as contracts point of contact for customers and internal teams.
• Reviews solicitations, contracts, modifications, and purchase orders for requirements and risks.
• Drafts routine contractual documents and escalates high-risk terms.
• Coordinates contract modifications, task orders, and funding actions.
• Monitors obligations, deliverables, funding levels, and milestones; communicates risks.
• Supports interpretation and implementation of contractual requirements across functions.
• Assists with reviewing terms and flow-downs for procurement and operations.
• Develops contract requirement matrices to support prime obligations.
• Supports proposal activities by evaluating terms and compliance risks.
