Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Contracts Administrator to oversee the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation. You will coordinate contract actions, support program execution, and assist with proposal activities and flow-down requirements.

The role requires a strong understanding of FAR/DFARS, efficient use of Microsoft Office, and experience with ERP or contract management systems, in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; minimum 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or contract/document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer government prime and commercial contracts throughout the lifecycle from award through closeout.
• Serve as contracts point of contact for customers, prime contractor counterparts, and internal teams.
• Review solicitations, contracts, modifications, amendments, and purchase orders for requirements, risks, and compliance.
• Draft and administer routine contractual documents and escalate non-standard or high-risk terms.
