Job summary

McCarl's Technical Services LLC is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to support review, negotiation, and administration of commercial agreements across industrial construction and technical services. You will liaise with Operations, Business Development, Procurement, Finance, Safety, leadership, and outside counsel to manage risk and ensure compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Admin, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in contracts, contract admin, procurement, or related role.
• Experience reviewing MSAs, NDAs, purchase orders, subcontracts, vendor/service agreements.
• Strong contract reading, writing, and documentation skills.
• Ability to explain contract requirements to non-legal audiences.
• Ability to pass required drug/alcohol, background, and vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and administer MSAs, NDAs, subcontracts, PO terms, and service agreements.
• Evaluate agreements for scope, schedule, cost, safety, insurance, compliance, and operational impacts.
• Identify unfavorable or non-standard terms and escalate as needed.
• Support negotiations with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and outside counsel.
• Ensure flow-down provisions from prime contracts in subcontractor agreements.
• Coordinate with project teams on contract requirements, notice obligations, and change orders.
• Provide written contract summaries for project teams to use in execution.
• Maintain organized contract records in SharePoint and track key dates.
• Assist with contract administration during execution and closeout.
• Promote process improvement and standard templates for lifecycle management.
