Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Sr. Contracts Manager, Construction Claims in Los Angeles to analyze and document claims, review contracts, and drive resolution. You will lead data-driven analyses of costs, schedules, and entitlement, and prepare professional communications and exhibits to support negotiations.

The role requires deep contract knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and collaboration with executives, engineers, and legal teams to shape claim strategy and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Contract Management, or related field preferred.
• 15+ years in construction management, claims management, or related role.
• Experience in construction claims, administration, project controls, cost analysis.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and project documentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data-analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to review, interpret, and summarize contractual language.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction claims, change orders, costs, schedules, delays, and project impacts.
• Review contracts, subcontracts, specs, amendments, and project records to assess entitlement.
• Perform data analysis using project cost, schedule, and quantity information.
• Review and organize project documentation, including RFIs schedules, meeting minutes, invoices, and correspondences.
• Develop claim timelines, chronologies, summaries, and supporting exhibits.
• Draft professional claim letters, notices, contractual correspondence, and responses.
• Prepare presentations and materials to communicate and substantiate the project position.
• Identify risks, inconsistencies, gaps, and potential claim issues within records.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations summarizing findings.
• Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and claim strategy development.
• Collaborate with executive managers, project managers, contract admins, engineers, schedulers, and legal teams.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
