Job summary

Patterson-UTI Management Services, LLC is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management for third-party supplier agreements. You will own contracting policy, templates, and the CLM system (Coupa CLM), coordinating with Legal, Risk, and business units across the organization.

The role demands strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills with experience in high-value contracts and multi-site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field
• 5+ years of contracts management or procurement experience
• Experience with electronic contract management systems
• Experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts
• Ability to lead and develop contracts staff
• Strong risk awareness and legal understanding

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management for complex supplier agreements
• Own administration of the contract management system (Coupa CLM)
• Develop and enforce contracting standards, templates, and policies
• Serve as escalation point for disputes and high-risk terms
• Train category managers on contract review processes
• Track and report contract metrics to Supply Chain leadership
• Maintain filing, storage, and naming standards for contracts
• Perform other related duties as assigned
