Job summary

The Orange County Transportation Authority is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to oversee complex procurements and contract administration for major capital projects. Under general direction, you will develop and administer procurement documents, coordinate architectural, engineering, construction and professional services bids, and administer contracts, amendments and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in the development and administration of contracts.
• Experience with complex procurement and public agency capital projects.
• Knowledge of competitive procurement practices and procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurements and contract administration for major capital projects.
• Develop and administer procurement documents (RFPs, IFBs, cooperative agreements).
• Coordinate architectural, engineering, construction and professional services procurements.
• Administer contracts, task orders, amendments and change orders.
• Support projects like OC Streetcar, freeway and rail improvements.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
