Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) Bothell location is seeking a Contracts Senior Specialist to develop and fulfill contract requirements for equipment, materials, products or services. The role evaluates contract compliance and advises on rights and obligations.

The position involves preparing bids or proposals, negotiating terms, and determining acceptable bids, with an on-site work arrangement and opportunities for growth within a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.
• Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
• Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.
• Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
• Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.
• Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.
