Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our PMCM team in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. This full-time, on-site role oversees contract administration, change management, and claims evaluation for a major construction project, with a CMAR background preferred.

You will lead commercial analyses and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate risk and protect project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management, commercial management, contract administration, or change management.
• Experience with general contractors or CM firms, preferably CMAR.
• Strong understanding of contracts, change orders, claims, schedule analysis, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project's subject matter expert on contractual and commercial matters.
• Interpret and administer contract terms, ensuring compliance by all stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate contract requirements, obligations, risks, and entitlements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on contractual rights, responsibilities, and commercial strategies.
• Lead the review and evaluation of potential change orders, change orders, and contract modifications.
• Collaborate with project teams and owners to negotiate and resolve change-related issues.
• Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
