Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Contracts Analyst for a role that may be remote anywhere in the United States. The candidate will review contractual documents for policy and government compliance, advise management, and represent the organization on prime contracts across projects.

The position requires extensive contract knowledge (FAR/DFARS/CAS), cost proposals experience, and strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities to mitigate risks and support complex bidding and execution

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Masters and 4+ years of experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in contracts administration.
• Cost proposal experience including review of risks/mitigations, approval process coordination, creation of cost narratives, understanding of compliance, and all other responsibilities of contracts related to proposal submissions.
• Thorough understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration.
• Full knowledge of industry practices.
• Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TINA and CAS.
• Effective administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to handle a fluctuating workload and multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Effective critical thinking skills and ability to assimilate.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to handle complex contractual issues while collaborating with various stakeholders to help mitigate program risks.
• Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and master agreements.
• Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
• Represents organization as a prime contract on contracts or projects.
• Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Develops solutions to complex problems, which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
• Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
• Supports commercial work as well as complex efforts including FFP, defined delivery efforts.
• Proposal preparation; negotiation and administration of various contracts to include CR, T&M, FFP and multiple Task Order contracts development; preparation, negotiation, and administration of teaming agreements and proprietary information agreements; collection and submission of data for regulatory reporting; and management of OCI Plans.
