Senior Contracts Administrator
This is a full-time remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic support for new business opportunities, supporting Business Development and Program Managers by applying business management knowledge and understanding of Federal and DoD acquisition regulations.
- Lead and support proposal activities such as financial and business risk analyses, developing risk mitigation strategies, drafting terms and conditions, supporting proposal pricing strategies, and ensuring compliance with solicitations.
- Represent the organization as a primary contact on market survey responses, white papers, contract proposals, and modifications.
- Negotiate contracts and contract changes, ensuring awards and modifications reflect negotiated agreements; conduct post-award administration and closeout.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, contracts, modifications, OCI management plans, and other business arrangements as needed.
- Ensure company commitments meet policies, legal requirements (FAR/DFAR), and customer specifications.
- Escalate performance issues and coordinate problem resolution with legal and senior contracts management.
- Advise management on contractual rights and obligations; act as the primary interface with customer contracting officials.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Contract Administration.
- Experience with government solicitations (RFI, RFP, RFQ, OTA) and managing government contracts (Cost Type, FFP, T&M, ID/IQ), including review of pricing, representations, certifications, and subcontracting issues.
- Broad experience in contract administration, with emphasis on Federal compliance, contractual risk, cost and price analysis, negotiation, and administration.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related laws, including Cost Accounting Standards.
- Ability to interpret complex legal and contractual topics and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Well-versed in cost and price analysis and negotiation techniques.
- Experience drafting and executing nondisclosure, teaming, and master agreements.
- Understanding of OCI issues and mitigation strategies.
Additional Qualifications:
- Participation in NCMA is a plus.
- Experience with DoD contracting and negotiation, with knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred.
- Knowledge of Small Business and 8(a) policies is a plus.
- Experience with fixed-price, supply chain, and logistics support contracts is desirable.
- US Citizenship and the ability to pass a background check if required.
