Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a management-level Contracts Manager to review, draft, and negotiate complex agreements for goods and services across the hospital and affiliates.

The role includes supervising two Associate, Contract Services staff, improving contract processes, and aligning with legal and regulatory standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification or similar education preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in contract review, drafting and negotiation in IT/healthcare.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, contract management systems and e-signature tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate and execute complex, high-risk contracts.
• Manage various contract types including Purchase, Software and Services Agreements.
• Lead and develop two Associate, Contract Services team members.
• Collaborate with Legal Services leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive contract lifecycle improvements.
