Job summary

City of San Antonio is seeking a Contract Management Supervisor to oversee contract initiation, monitoring and compliance within the city's procurement framework. The role directs staff and ensures adherence to contracting policies in an office setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in contract management, including 2 years supervising teams; a Master's degree is preferred. SAP experience is a plus, with opportunities to shape annual compliance plans and implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and five years of progressively responsible contract management experience with two years in a supervisory role.
• Master's degree preferred in auditing, accounting or related field; contracting or analytical business experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct and implement contract initiation, monitoring and compliance programs.
• Provide oversight of contract projects and staff training.
• Develop annual compliance work plans and program improvements.
• Develop and enhance contracting-related tools and systems.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned employees.
