Job summary
Health Catalyst is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Analyst or Contract Analyst to join its legal team. This role focuses on reviewing, drafting, and redlining complex commercial agreements, including BAAs and vendor contracts, with a strong emphasis on CLM workflows.
You will partner with Sales, Product, and Business Development to translate business needs into precise contract terms while maintaining compliance and managing high-volume reviews.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of dedicated commercial contracting experience.
- Hands-on experience with digital Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and contract repositories.
- Exceptional drafting skills with clear, precise contractual language.
- Ability to identify risks, deviations, and operational issues in third‑party contracts.
Responsibilities
- Review & draft a wide variety of commercial agreements, from templates or from scratch.
- Conduct contract analysis and redlining, identifying risks and actionable fallback options.
- Manage CLM processes: intake, workflow, and repository accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Business Development to translate business needs into contract terms.
- Lead process improvement initiatives within the legal department; assist with entity management as needed.
