Job summary

AkzoNobel in High Point, NC seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement/Process Engineering lead to direct CI projects and lead Lean deployment across site operations. You will manage engineers, CI Specialists, and trainers, delivering improvements within time and budget while building local capability.

The role requires 5–10 years in process engineering, DMAIC/Lean experience, and strong communication skills to influence across functions. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Process) required.
• CI expert with 6+ years in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM.
• Project management using DMAIC/Lean.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage CI project teams and timelines.
• Deliver projects within budget and scope; ensure KPI delivery.
• Lead ALPS deployment and organizational capability building.
• Coach site leaders and practitioners in Lean tools and problem solving.
• Develop data-driven projects using VSM, Ishikawa, SPC, and FMEA.
• Perform hazard studies (PHA) proficiency).
