Job summary

Info Gain Consulting (IGC) is seeking a Senior Continuous Delivery Systems Engineer / Architect to drive enterprise DevOps initiatives and implement CI/CD across large server environments. You will support deployment, validation, and orchestration of IT packages in enterprise data centers and lead improvements to delivery processes.

The role requires extensive experience with Windows, Linux, and UNIX, and proficiency with Git-based SCM, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Experience with request-for-deployment processes for IT packages.
• Experience deploying IT packages to enterprise environments with 1,000+ servers.

Position Overview

Info Gain Consulting (IGC) is seeking a Senior Continuous Delivery Systems Engineer / Architect to support enterprise Continuous Delivery and software deployment capabilities. The successful candidate will bring significant experience deploying and managing IT packages across large enterprise server environments and implementing DevOps/CI/CD technologies throughout the Continuous Delivery pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Support request-for-deployment processes for IT packages to enterprise server environments.
• Support automated validation of IT packages prior to delivery.
• Prepare IT packages for automated deployment to enterprise server environments.
• Implement and support automated tracking of IT packages during deployment.
• Manage delivery of IT packages to enterprise server environments.
• Implement DevOps Continuous Delivery processes within large enterprise organizations.
• Use and implement DevOps/CI/CD tools across major sections of the Continuous Delivery pipeline, including source-code management, repositories, deployment, and orchestration.
• Assess existing Continuous Delivery processes and document advantages, limitations, and areas for improvement.
• Develop written recommendations for improving Continuous Delivery processes.

• Experience implementing DevOps Continuous Delivery processes in large organizations, including enterprise organizations with more than 1,000 employees.
• Experience using and implementing DevOps/CI/CD tools across source-code management, repositories, deployment, orchestration, and related pipeline functions.
• Experience working with hardware systems using Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
• Expertise with DevOps tools, Rational tools, release and deployment orchestration tools, Git-based source-code management tools, repository tools, cyber scanning tools, staging tools, and quality assurance tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and release/orchestration tools.
