Job summary

Info Gain Consulting is seeking a Senior Nexus Repository & IQ Server Administrator to implement, administer, and integrate Nexus products in enterprise IT environments. You will support Nexus Repository, Nexus IQ Server, and integrate with DevOps/CI/CD tools, including security settings for government environments.

The role requires hands-on management of Nexus software on Linux/UNIX environments and collaboration with stakeholders to optimize enterprise license usage and tooling integration.

Senior Nexus Repository & IQ Server Administrator

Position Overview Info Gain Consulting (IGC) is seeking a Senior Nexus Repository & IQ Server Administrator with hands-on experience implementing, administering, and integrating Nexus products in enterprise IT environments. The successful candidate will provide expertise supporting Nexus Repository, Nexus IQ Server, software repositories, user onboarding, security settings, and integration with enterprise DevOps/CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, update, and manage Nexus Repository software.
• Install, update, and manage Nexus IQ Server software.
• Support security settings for Nexus IQ Server in a government environment.
• Apply knowledge of software-repository capabilities to enterprise implementations.
• Support onboarding of users to new tools.
• Implement Nexus products within enterprise IT environments, including Linux environments.
• Integrate Nexus products with other DevOps/CI/CD tools.
• Support Nexus IQ Server Lifecycle and Firewall capabilities.
• Evaluate the structure and organization of Nexus repository licenses and develop recommendations for efficient enterprise use.
• Develop written recommendations for implementing Nexus IQ Server within an enterprise environment.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, updating, and managing Nexus Repository software.
• Hands-on experience installing, updating, and managing Nexus IQ Server software.
• Knowledge of Nexus IQ Server security settings in a government environment.
• Knowledge of the capabilities of software repositories.
• Experience onboarding users to new tools.
• Experience implementing Nexus products within enterprise IT environments, including Linux environments.
• Experience integrating Nexus products with DevOps/CI/CD technologies.
• Experience working with hardware systems using Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
• Expertise with DevOps tools, Rational tools, release and deployment orchestration tools, Git-based source-code management tools, repository tools, cyber scanning tools, staging tools, and quality assurance tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Approximately 4 or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Nexus Repository and Nexus IQ Server Lifecycle and Firewall capabilities.
