Job description

Testsigma is building the world's first Quality Intelligence Platform — the infrastructure layer that sits between every code change and every confident release. We help QA teams run test automation at speed and scale, without coding expertise, using plain English. Our customers include Cisco, Samsung, Bosch, Honeywell, and hundreds of leading QA teams globally. AI is rewriting software faster than at any point in history. Code that used to take a quarter now ships in a week. The gap between how fast software is built and how confidently it can be released — that's the problem Testsigma exists to close. We are backed by Accel, MassMutual, and Strive, and headquartered in San Francisco with engineering teams in Bangalore.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

Our ICP - QA leaders, automation engineers, and DevOps teams — are actively searching for guidance on test automation, shift-left quality, and AI in testing. We are not capturing that demand with the authority or volume it deserves. That changes with this hire.

This is a founding seat in the content function. The person who takes this role will not inherit a playbook — they will write it. You will own organic growth end-to-end, set the content standard, and build the system that scales with the company. You report to the Head of Marketing.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
  • Organic traffic growth — own keyword rankings and topic authority across assigned clusters. Set the strategy, produce the content, and be accountable for the numbers — not just the calendar.
  • ICP-focused content — write for QA leaders, automation engineers, and DevOps teams. Every piece must reflect their language, workflows, and decision criteria — not a generic B2B persona.
  • Content architecture — build and own topic cluster strategies — pillar and supporting content — with a clear rationale for every piece in the hierarchy.
  • Performance optimisation — continuously audit and refresh existing content for ranking lift, CTR improvement, and conversion gains.
  • Campaign asset delivery — deliver conversion-focused content for ABM programs, product launches, and webinars — on time, persona-matched, and campaign-ready.
  • Metrics ownership — track keyword rankings, CTR, demo requests, trial sign-ups, and content‑attributed pipeline. Own the numbers. Report them. Act on them.
  • AI‑augmented production — use GenAI and LLMs to scale research and drafting. Apply editorial judgment to ensure depth, accuracy, and differentiation.
  • Content standards — set and maintain tone, voice, and quality standards across all marketing content — including assets produced by contractors or future hires.
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
  • 4+ years of content writing in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology — you will walk us through a piece that ranked, what you did to get it there, and what it drove
  • Demonstrated, personally‑owned organic traffic growth — before/after story with keyword, content change, and result. No team attribution
  • Working command of SEO — keyword research, content architecture, on‑page optimisation, search intent, and refresh strategy. Active practice, not surface familiarity
  • AI fluency in content workflows — you actively use LLMs to accelerate research and drafting and know exactly where your judgment is irreplaceable
  • Ability to write for technical practitioners at depth — QA engineers and DevOps leads know when they're being written at versus written for
  • Self‑directed metrics ownership — you pull your own reports, interpret trends, and act without waiting for a data analyst
  • Portfolio with range and results — blogs, landing pages, case studies, campaign copy — each with context on what it targeted and what happened. No portfolio, no conversation
GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS
  • Prior exposure to QA, testing, or DevOps — shift-left, CI/CD, test flakiness, automation debt — from lived experience, not research
  • Experience writing content for an ABM motion — persona‑specific, account‑tailored, conversion‐focused
  • Experience building a content cluster strategy from the ground up
  • Background writing for a product in a category‑creation or repositioning phase
  • Experience with link‑building, digital PR, or original research as part of an organic growth strategy
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Webflow, or similar CMS and marketing automation platforms
  • Working knowledge of GA4, Search Console, and SEMrush — interpreting trends and diagnosing issues independently
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
  • It is not a volume role. Publishing more is not success — traffic that doesn't convert and rankings on keywords no one searches are not wins.
  • It is not a role where AI does the writing and you format it. You use AI to go faster. The judgment — audience, angle, depth, differentiation — is yours.
  • It is not a junior role with a senior title. Four or more years means four or more years of owning outcomes.
  • It is not a role for someone who needs a playbook handed to them. You will build it.
WHAT WE OFFER
  • Competitive salary + performance bonus
  • 100% company‑paid medical insurance
  • Daily catered lunch and free snacks
  • Flat hierarchy — direct access to founders and leadership
