Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Senior Content Marketer to shape and grow educational content for founders and entrepreneurs. You’ll lead the day-to-day operation of the educational blog, write and edit across channels, and partner with product marketing, SEO, and design to scale impact.

You’ll bring 8+ years in content marketing and editorial leadership, with a track record of elevating others’ work, managing external contributors, and guiding strategic distribution for maximum reach.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in content marketing, strategy, editorial, or related field.
• Exceptional writing and editing with high editorial standards.
• Proven success leading a blog, newsletter, publication, or similar program.
• Experience managing freelancers, agencies, and external contributors.
• Strong understanding of business, entrepreneurship, finance topics and audience needs.
• Editorial judgment paired with a marketing mindset and distribution focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of Mercury’s educational blog from planning to assignment, editing, publishing, and optimization.
• Write, edit, and package high-quality content across blogs, newsletters, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage freelancers and agency partners with stewardship to scale work while meeting quality standards.
• Collaborate with SEO/AEO, Product Marketing, Communications, Design, and other teams to maximize reach and impact.
• Use performance data and audience insights to identify growth strategies and improve content performance.
• Leverage AI and modern content tools to improve research, editing, and production workflows.
