Job summary

Mercury’s Stories team seeks a Senior Content Marketer to shape and grow education-focused content for founders and builders. You will own the educational blog, collaborating with product marketers, SEO, and creatives to lift quality and reach while driving business impact.

You’ll manage writers and freelancers, apply editorial judgment with a marketer’s instinct, and use data to steer content investments in a remote-first, async environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in content marketing, content strategy, editorial, or related field.
• Exceptional writer/editor with track record of elevating others’ work.
• Proven success leading a blog, newsletter, or editorial program.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of Mercury’s educational blog, from planning to publishing.
• Write, edit, and package content across blogs, newsletters, campaigns, and other initiatives.
• Manage freelancers and agencies to scale work while maintaining quality.
• Partner with SEO/Product Marketing/Communications/Design to maximize reach and impact.
• Use performance data and audience insights to identify growth and editorial investments.
• Leverage AI and content tools to improve research, editing, and production workflows.
