Mercury’s Stories team is hiring a Senior Content Marketer to shape and grow educational content for founders and entrepreneurs. You’ll oversee Mercury’s educational blog, partnering with product marketers, SEO, communications, and creatives to uplift quality, reach, and business impact.

You’ll be a senior individual contributor, blending editorial judgment with a marketer’s instinct for audience, distribution, and impact, in a remote-first, async environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in content marketing, content strategy, editorial or related field.
• Exceptional writer and editor with high editorial standards.
• Proven success leading a blog, newsletter, publication, or similarly scaled editorial program.
• Experience managing freelancers, agencies and external contributors at scale.
• Solid knowledge of business, entrepreneurship, finance or similar subject matter.
• Editorial judgment paired with a marketing mindset — prioritizing reach and impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of Mercury’s educational blog from planning through editing, publishing and optimization.
• Write, edit and package high-quality content across blogs, newsletters, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage freelancers and agency partners to scale work while meeting quality standards.
• Collaborate with SEO, Product Marketing, Communications, Design and other teams to maximize reach and impact.
• Use performance data and audience insights to identify growth strategies and improve editorial investments.
• Leverage AI and modern content tools to improve research, editing and production workflows.
