Job description

We’re seeking a Senior Content Editorial Manager to drive SEO-focused financial content that boosts rankings and converts visitors into loan applicants. This role partners with internal SEO strategists and agencies to refine keyword-optimized content while ensuring brand consistency, product alignment, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you'll lead the development of rich media content, including videos and infographics, in collaboration with creative teams.

In the Role

  • Edit and refine SEO-driven financial education content to improve organic search rankings and engagement.
  • Partner with SEO teams and agencies to execute content roadmaps aligned with publishing goals.
  • Serve as the expert on brand voice, product positioning, and compliance standards, providing editorial feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize content, enhance page design, and test messaging for better conversions.
  • Lead the creation of videos, infographics, and interactive tools to enhance SEO and conversion rates.
  • Manage the rich media publishing roadmap, aligning with content strategy.
  • Collaborate with SEO strategists and agencies to prioritize high-impact topics and formats.
  • Define scripting and design direction, guiding internal teams and external agencies.
  • Additionally, you’ll maintain a content repository to ensure messaging consistency across customer touchpoints, working closely with UX, creative teams, and agencies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in content management, writing/editing, SEO content strategy, or content marketing.
  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong experience in editorial processes, publishing, and managing content roadmaps.
  • Expertise in adapting content for videos, infographics, and interactive media.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple content initiatives across teams and agencies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with SEO, creative, UX, and external partners.
  • Ability to uphold content quality, consistency, and compliance.
  • Experience directing and working with creative teams and agencies.

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content analytics.
  • Experience using rich media to drive conversion.

Location: Baltimore Hybrid.

Baltimore MD: Target base salary range is 85,000-115,000, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
