The role:
Are you a skilled editor? Can you rattle off 20 catchy headlines at the drop of a hat, rework the structure of any article, and spot a typo from across the room? And can you do all that while also skillfully optimizing content to dominate the rankings for competitive, high-intent searches?
If so, we need you! We are hiring a Sr. Content Editor to join the content marketing team here at Apollo, working with our world-class team of writers, marketers, video editors, creators, salespeople, and strategists.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a library of high-ranking content that actually helps sales and marketing professionals grow their businesses. You’ll also be building our contributor program from the ground up, sourcing and managing dynamic columnists from our engaged community, partners, and employees. You’ll be responsible for helping to shape their ideas, serving as the editorial yin to their point-of-view yang.
We’re looking for a top-notch editor and content creator who can not only craft publication-level multimedia content but can also build an audience and a distribution plan (put the “marketing” in “content marketing”).
Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, this role is ideal for a seasoned content creator/marketer who knows what great content looks like, how to make it at scale, and how to mentor writers of all skill levels to reach their full potential.
Besides the great compensation package and culture that thrives in openness and excellence, we invest tremendous effort into developing our remote employees’ careers. The team embraces that we have a sole purpose: to help customers maximize their full revenue potential on the Apollo platform. This mindset opens us up to a lot of creative approaches to making customers successful at scale. You’ll be a significant part of a lean, remote team, empowered to really own your role as a proactive educator. We’re very collaborative at Apollo, so you’ll be able to lean on your teammates, even in adjacent departments, to help you achieve lofty goals. You’ll be supported and encouraged to experiment and take educated risks that lead to big wins. And, you’ll have a whole team remotely by your side to help you do it!
