Universal Health Services (UHS) seeks a Senior Manager - Content Development to shape content strategy for hospital/system marketing campaigns, blogs, print and digital messaging. You will lead a content team and collaborate with marketing, design and digital partners to deliver high-impact content across channels.

The role demands editorial excellence, AP style mastery, and adept use of AI in content creation while driving multi-channel campaigns and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare marketing or related field.
• 8–10 years of healthcare marketing experience required.
• Mastery of AP Style and copywriting standards with AI usage.
• Experience with SEO/AE0 optimization and digital channels.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Adobe Workfront and SEMrush; quick to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Edit/review content for corporate, acute care and behavioral health projects; ensures consistency and accuracy of tone, style and legal guidelines
• Contribute to development of high-level corporate initiatives such as annual reports, newsletters, advertisements and publications
• Lead brand messaging, taglines and headlines for facilities and service line campaigns
• Develop naming and brand identity for new or rebranded facilities, programs and initiatives
• Manage and mentor a team of writers and freelancers; allocate workload across team
• Lead team meetings, trainings, and process changes; share best practices
• Guide use of approved AI while maintaining high copy standards
• Collaborate across digital and design teams; interface with facility leadership and local marketing
