About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Senior Content Creator with a performance creative mindset to help unlock new customer acquisition across paid and organic channels.

Reporting into the Director of Growth Marketing, this role will lead our content strategy and execution—crafting and curating the world of Trade across paid media, social platforms, our website, and more–fueling growth while maintaining brand integrity.

You’ll be the go-to creator of compelling, social-first content designed to stop thumbs and convert new customers. From shooting short-form UGC-style videos to ideating a new paid ad hook to writing scroll-stopping captions, you’ll bring Trade’s brand to life across Meta, YouTube, TikTok and more. This is a player-coach role: you’ll create content yourself while managing external creators and collaborators across our network of roasters, customers, internal team members (many former baristas!) and agency partners.

You’ll work closely with paid media, brand, creative, and merchandising teams to ensure content is trend-savvy, platform-optimized, and on-brand. If you love moving fast, making stuff, and shaping content that is disruptive, connects emotionally and drives results—you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Own content creation for new customer acquisition across paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), organic social, and our website—with an emphasis on short-form video and visual storytelling.
  • Concept, storyboard, shoot, edit, and publish high-performing creative across channels, often self-producing with quick turnarounds.
  • Lead a nimble content engine—collaborate with internal teams and manage a network of creators, roasters, influencers, and customers to scale content output.
  • Collaborate closely with Head of Growth Marketing / Media Agencies to build and iterate on ads designed for performance, aligning creative with campaign goals and customer insights.
  • Bring the brand into every asset—ensure that storytelling, tone, and visuals are consistent and compelling, even in performance-optimized formats.
  • Stay plugged into culture and trends, turning insights into timely creative that resonates with today’s audiences.
  • Analyze content performance to inform future creative direction and improve results, using insights to continuously evolve strategy and formats.
  • Work cross-functionally with Growth, Brand, Product, and Merchandising to support launches, seasonal promotions, and evergreen initiatives with high-quality creative.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience creating content for social, digital marketing, or paid media (CPG, eCommerce, and/or agency experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Canva or other design tools; motion graphics experience a plus.
  • Comfortable with both iPhone and DSLR shooting, basic lighting, and quick-turn editing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with short-form video production (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools).
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft captions, hooks, and CTAs that convert.
  • Clear understanding of social platform nuances and performance best practices.
  • Experience working with performance teams.
  • Comfortable managing an external creator pipeline and giving clear creative direction (via briefs, etc.).
  • Bonus (Ideal): experience with food/bev, DTC, and/or subscription brands.

  • A digital native with a strong creative POV and an obsession with social trends, storytelling, and visual craft.
  • A self-starting content machine who can shoot, edit, write, and publish with minimal lift—and loves the challenge of doing more with less.
  • Deeply familiar with what performs across Meta (Reels, In-Feed), TikTok, and YouTube (Shorts, Demand Gen)—and ready to try new formats and platforms at any time.
  • Comfortable toggling between brand and performance mindsets, bringing strategic intent to every asset you create.
  • Collaborative, fast-moving, and energized by vast opportunity—you know how to lead in motion and find clarity in the creative process.
  • Eager to identify and leverage AI tools to improve creative output efficiencies.

Office Policy

While we operate in a hybrid-first environment, the office is open and available for all Monday through Friday. Team members are expected to spend at least three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in-office each week. Our goal is to foster collaboration, connection, and transparency, and we know from experience the important role that in-person time plays in this effort.
