Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a senior scientific leader to ensure Quality and Food Safety by Design across the Idea-to-Launch process. You will provide expert guidance on chemical contaminant risks in ingredients and finished products to safeguard consumer trust in Nestlé products.

You will define contaminant limits within RMPS and support SBUs and Quality Management teams in finishing product specifications.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Food Engineering, Toxicology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in the food industry within Quality, Food Safety, Analytical Chemistry, or Toxicology with contaminants focus.
• Experience across end-to-end value chain including R&D, Operations, Suppliers, and Markets.
• Hands-on with Next-GEN TIC, GARD, RASFF, RMPS, CSP, HACCP, NesTest, Digicomply; strong risk assessment experience.
• Proven leadership in global teams; strong English proficiency; effective coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on chemical contaminant issues in the I2L process.
• Define contaminant limits within RMPS and support finished product specifications.
• Maintain Next-GEN TIC database for spend categories.
• Drive contaminant risk mitigation with R&D, Operations, and Suppliers.
• Conduct horizon scanning and early warning management for emerging risks.
• Serve as Issue Manager for assigned contaminants within IMB.
• Author and maintain Nestlé standards on chemical contaminants.
• Deliver training on contaminants for Markets, Factories, SBUs, and R&D teams.
• Mentor Quality Specialists to strengthen technical expertise.
• Lead development initiatives for individual and team growth.
