Busey Bank is seeking a Consumer Business Risk & Compliance Manager to build and supervise risk and control frameworks for Consumer Payments and Deposits, acting as the subject matter expert on consumer risks in both traditional Retail and digital banking.

The role partners with lines of business and the second line of defense to assess controls, guide remediation, and ensure regulatory compliance while enabling efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of consumer regulations and trends.
• Experience documenting procedures and controls.
• Experience with both traditional retail and digital banking products.

Responsibilities

• Assess and strengthen controls frameworks across consumer payments and deposits.
• Guide control design to ensure regulatory risk is mitigated efficiently.
• Develop and monitor testing standards and risk reporting.
• Report testing results to leadership and staff.
• Support regulatory changes and implementation of new products.
• Coordinate with second line of defense and business lines.
