Axiom is seeking a Consumer Protection & Regulatory Attorney to join our team, advising Fortune 500 clients across industries on consumer protection, product regulatory, and related compliance matters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, familiar with regulatory frameworks such as CFPB/FTC/CPSC, and a proven track record guiding businesses through regulatory inquiries and product safety compliance. Join a dynamic team that values collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

5+ years of legal experience in consumer protection or related regulatory matters.
Experience advising on consumer financial services and lending regulations.
Experience with regulatory frameworks such as CFPB, FTC, CPSC, FDA or state regulators.
Experience with consumer lending, fintech, payments, or product safety is a plus.
Active attorney license in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on consumer protection laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting products, services, marketing, and operations.
Provide guidance on interactions with federal and state regulators, regulatory inquiries, examinations, investigations, and evolving consumer protection requirements.
Review consumer-facing marketing, advertising, disclosures, terms, and product claims for legal and regulatory compliance.
Partner with legal, compliance, marketing, product, risk, and business teams to identify and mitigate consumer protection and regulatory risks.
