Qualifications

• 5+ years of consumer loan underwriting experience within a financial institution.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of consumer lending practices and underwriting principles.
• Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Harborstone's consumer lending and underwriting functions.
• Lead and develop supervisors and underwriting teams.
• Ensure sound lending decisions, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee all consumer loan underwriting activities and automated decision systems.
