Job summary

Flatirons Bank in Boulder, CO seeks a Consumer Loan Operations Manager to lead daily consumer lending activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive scalable processes across loan administration. You will oversee the lending team, coordinate with partners, and strengthen control environments to support growth.

The role requires deep knowledge of mortgage operations and lending laws, with hands-on leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on risk management and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in mortgage operations or related banking functions.
• Experience leading mortgage or consumer lending operations personnel.
• Strong knowledge of TRID, TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, ECOA/Reg B, HMDA and related rules.
• Proven ability to balance leadership with hands-on production and problem‑solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of bridge, portfolio mortgage, secondary‑market mortgage, HELOC and consumer construction lending.
• Oversee lending compliance monitoring, HMDA reporting, and policy adherence.
• Coordinate workflow with loan officers, processors, docs staff, title companies and appraisers.
• Develop scalable processes and strengthen succession plans within Lending Operations.
• Serve as primary SME for lending regulations and collaborate with Legal and Compliance.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods and regulatory examinations.
