Smith Hanley is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Consumer Insights team in New York City. The role combines traditional consumer research with alternative data to guide investment decisions for a consumer-focused private equity portfolio.

You will work on brand health, growth opportunities, and customer behavior, translating complex data into clear, actionable stories for senior stakeholders in a fast-moving environment. Expect hybrid in-office work with Fridays flexible.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in consumer research, insights, or analytics
• Strong quantitative chops and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience with consumer research and alternative data sources
• Exposure to SQL, Python, R, Tableau is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate brand health and growth opportunities across investments and portfolio brands
• Design and analyze surveys; leverage alternative datasets to answer business questions
• Summarize insights in concise, executive-ready decks and presentations
• Experiment with AI-powered research tools to speed and improve analyses
• Collaborate with stakeholders across investment teams and portfolio brands
