Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a senior data architect to own Lilly Direct's master data management and privacy infrastructure. You will model consumer data, define consent flows, and build lakehouse pipelines across Reltio, Syrenis, and Databricks while ensuring data residency and regulatory compliance.

You will design API/event patterns on AWS, guide engineers, and drive architectural decisions as Lilly Direct expands internationally across IBU markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, MIS, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years in data engineering or data architecture with ownership of a production data platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain consumer/patient entity model on Reltio with match rules, survivorship, golden record and reference data.
• Design consent and preference model on Syrenis for various consent types and lawful basis.
• Build and evolve Databricks pipelines and data quality controls within Lakehouse architecture.
• Define API and event patterns on AWS to synchronize Reltio, Syrenis, Databricks and Lilly Direct experiences.
• Establish repeatable patterns for onboarding new IBU markets with data residency and consent configuration.
• Write architecture decision records and design standards; perform design reviews and provide technical direction.
