Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a CE Data Architect to own end-to-end data architecture for the CE Pharmacy platform within the covered-entity boundary. You will define canonical data models, crosswalk identities, PHI classification, data contracts, and isolation controls ensuring HIPAA compliant, auditable, and scalable data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering at enterprise scale.
• SQL fluency and hands-on Databricks/Unity Catalog experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Own the canonical CE data architecture within the CE trust boundary.
• Model CE identity and crosswalk layers across multiple systems.
• Author and steward data contracts (ODCS) for CE data products.
• Codify PHI data classification with robust security boundaries.
• Design the CE isolation model to prevent PHI leakage without tokenization.
• Establish reference patterns for CE data products and analytics.
• Define lineage, cataloging, and metadata strategy for audit readiness.
• Provide architectural review and gatekeeping for new CE data flows.
• Partner with governance, privacy, and platform teams for compliance.
• Enable AI/Agent data development with governed data contracts and guardrails.
• Supply CI/CD patterns for data, policy, and agent artifacts.
