MGO (Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP) is seeking an experienced Senior Associate for its Public Sector Advisory Services team in a hybrid environment. You will lead advisory and internal audit engagements for state and local government entities, mentor junior staff, and deliver data-driven analyses and client-ready reports.

You will manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing firm, travel 10-20%, and collaborate with clients and cross-functional engagement teams to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public sector experience in accounting, audit, or internal controls.
• Certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CFE, PMP) or willingness to pursue.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

MGO is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Public Sector Advisory Services team. In this role, you will deliver advisory and internal audit projects for state and local government and public sector entities. You will lead day-to-day project activities, perform data-driven analysis, and contribute to high-quality client deliverables while mentoring junior team members.

Compensation

$85,000 - $120,000 plus comprehensive benefits package.
