EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant – Grants Management in our Government Services practice. This role will focus on supporting clients with monitoring state and federal grants, including project eligibility, reporting, and recipient and subrecipient monitoring. The ideal candidate will bring expertise working with State and local governments, tribal governments, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit entities, along with grant writing and application development experience. You will work closely with managers and clients across all phases of the grants lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating client needs and recommending project approaches and strategies
  • Understanding and applying concepts from 2 CFR 200, EO’s, OMB memoranda across the grant lifecycle
  • Reviewing funding requests and developing competitive grant applications
  • Providing grants monitoring and oversight, including recipient and subrecipient monitoring per 2 CFR 200
  • Reviewing and analyzing grantee budgets for reasonableness and allowability of costs
  • Supporting clients in navigating award terms, amendments, grant closeout, and compliance requirements
  • Guiding clients through pre-award, post-award, and closeout phases of the grants lifecycle
  • Interpreting federal and state grant regulations, including ARPA, BIA, DHHS, IHS, IIJA
  • Preparing client deliverables ensuring quality, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Supporting internal process improvements and knowledge sharing
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with internal teams and clients
  • Providing guidance to tribal, healthcare, and nonprofit clients to align funding with strategic goals

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of federal grants management experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills in business and technical settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience with state/local governments, tribal entities, healthcare, nonprofits
  • Grant writing and application development experience
  • Consulting or advisory experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of federal compliance and grant regulations
  • Relevant certifications (CGMS, GPC, PMP, CPA, etc.)
  • Leadership and guidance experience
