Openkrill is seeking a Senior Consultant - Google Workspace to guide clients' IT teams, design tailor-made architectures, and implement solutions with the squad across projects.

You bring several years in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, strong consulting and communication skills, a hands-on mindset, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Remote work options are available in Germany.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environments (IT Consultant, Systems Engineer, or IT Specialist).
• Strong IT-level consulting skills and ability to communicate with IT decision-makers.
• Hands-on, pragmatic problem solver with a can-do mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English or German.
• Team-oriented with result-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Technical Consulting & Workshops: Advise clients on Google Workspace, develop tailored strategies, and deliver hands-on workshops.
• Design & Architecture: Create bespoke security, permissions, and IAM concepts; plan SSO and document decisions.
• Pre-Sales & Enablement: Support sales with technical expertise and compelling solutions.
• Project Delivery & Migration: Support migrations conceptually and execute with the squad (MDM, Google Vault, DLP).
• Support & On-Call: Participate in rotating on-call to ensure smooth operations.

You will be the central point of contact for our clients' IT departments: understanding their requirements, designing tailor-made architectures, explaining technical background as an equal partner, and directly implementing solutions together with the team.

Your mission- Technical Consulting & Workshops: You will independently advise our clients' IT teams on all aspects of Google Workspace, develop tailored strategies, and deliver hands-on workshops (e.g. on security & governance).- Design & Architecture: You will create bespoke security, permissions, and role concepts, plan Identity & Access Management solutions (SSO), and produce well-grounded technical documentation.- Pre-Sales & Enablement: As a pre-sales driver, you will support our sales team during the proposal phase with technical expertise and compelling solutions.- Project Delivery & Migration: You will support migration projects conceptually (e.g. from M365) and execute them alongside your squad - including Device Management (MDM) and compliance setups (Google Vault, DLP).- Support & On-Call: As part of our rotating on-call system, you will help ensure smooth IT operations for our existing clients.

Your profile- Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environment (e.g. as an IT Consultant, Systems Engineer, or IT Specialist).- IT-Level Consulting Skills: As a tech enthusiast, you communicate confidently with IT decision-makers, lead structured workshops, and translate technical complexity into clear concepts.- Mindset: You have a strong hands-on approach, work independently, and stand out as a pragmatic problem solver.- Tech Know-how: Confident handling of the Google Admin Console and modern security standards. Migration experience and knowledge of scripting or tools (CloudM, GAM, AvePoint) are a major plus.- Strong Communication: Business-fluent communication skills in either German or English.- Team Spirit & Drive: You impress with your result-oriented approach and your passion for working with our diverse team.
