Job summary

Deloitte France seeks a Senior Consultant to join its Operational Finance Transformation team. You will support transformation initiatives across Invoice to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report, shaping hybrid human-AI operating models and leveraging ERP, RPA, and AI capabilities to enhance Finance service delivery.

The role requires 4+ years in Finance Operations consulting, proficiency with Excel, and experience with BI tools like Tableau/Power BI, plus exposure to AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information systems, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of consulting or industry experience in Finance Operations including Invoice to Cash, Invoice to Pay, or Record to Report.
• Experience with service delivery model strategy, design, implementation, and optimization for multifunction or single-function organizations.

• Exposure to Finance Operations technologies and platforms including AI use cases, intelligent automation, robotic process automation, ERP platforms, Tableau, Power BI, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.

• Ability to travel 50% on average.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery by preparing materials for meetings, workshops, and presentations and tracking issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, and status.
• Analyze Finance processes across Invoice to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report to identify improvement opportunities and support future-state design.
• Help design hybrid human-AI operating models by assessing work distribution between people, automation, and AI agents with proper oversight.
• Evaluate and apply ERP, workflow, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI capabilities to improve Finance service delivery.
• Support transition of AI and automation use cases from pilots to embedded, scalable Finance capabilities.
• Develop analyses, financial models, business cases, AI opportunity assessments, roadmaps, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, Deloitte teams, and technology teams to translate requirements into process, governance, data and technology solutions.
• Support AI governance, change management, stakeholder engagement, workforce reskilling, and adoption activities.
• Contribute to team collaboration, practice development, proposals, and pursuit efforts, including mentoring junior practitioners.

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Senior Consultant to join our Operational Finance Transformation team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Finance Operations-including Invoice to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report-as well as related operating models, technologies, solutions, AI use cases, and performance measures.

This individual will bring foundational experience integrating technology and process design, supporting complex change management initiatives, and understanding how intelligent automation and agentic AI are reshaping Finance service delivery. In this role, you will support strategic transformation programs, design governance structures, implement new capabilities globally, and optimize Finance processes-including helping define effective human-AI operating models.

Work you'll do

As a GBS Senior Consultant on the Operational Finance Transformation team, you will support business transformation initiatives that improve Finance operations, service delivery, enterprise value, and organizational agility. You will:

• Support project delivery by preparing materials for meetings, workshops, and presentations, and tracking issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, and status.
• Analyze Finance processes and operating models across Invoice to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report to identify improvement opportunities and support future-state design.
• Help design hybrid human-AI operating models by assessing where work should be performed by people, automation, or AI agents, including appropriate oversight, escalation, and exception handling.
• Evaluate and apply ERP, workflow, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI capabilities to improve Finance service delivery.
• Support the transition of AI and automation use cases from pilots into embedded, scalable Finance capabilities.
• Develop analyses, financial models, business cases, AI opportunity assessments, maturity roadmaps, storyboards, and presentation materials to support strategic recommendations and client decision-making.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, Deloitte teams, and technology teams to translate business requirements into effective process, governance, data, and technology solutions.
• Support AI governance, responsible AI, change management, stakeholder engagement, workforce reskilling, and adoption activities.
• Contribute to team collaboration, practice development, proposals, and pursuit efforts, including mentoring junior practitioners.

• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred

• Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma.
• Certification in a change management methodology, such as Prosci or ADKAR.
• Experience supporting business process technology vendor selection.

• Experience translating technology functionality into process improvement recommendations.
• Exposure to agentic AI platforms, orchestration tools, AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, or Finance AI-maturity assessments and roadmaps.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,200 to $229,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
