Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant, Global Business Services to help transform operating models, governance, and service delivery for enterprise functions, leveraging ERP, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will work across Finance Transformation and adjacent functions, collaborating with teams in the US and globally to deliver impactful client engagements and governance considerations for AI use in shared services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of consulting or industry experience in Global Business Services, shared services, outsourcing, Finance Transformation, or business operations.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting operating model design, governance, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience creating client deliverables using Microsoft PowerPoint and performing analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with one or more: Tableau, Power BI, ServiceNow, Salesforce, HighRadius, BlackLine, Basware, workflow tools, automation tools, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Exposure to generative AI, agentic AI, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support client engagements focused on Global Business Services, shared services, outsourcing, and enterprise operating model transformation.
• Analyze current-state operations, governance structures, service delivery models, and functional processes across Finance and other enterprise functions.
• Support the design of future-state operating models and processes with ERP, workflow, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Research and evaluate generative AI, agentic AI, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics use cases relevant to GBS service delivery.
• Help document hybrid human-AI workflows and determine where work is done by people vs automation or AI agents.
• Support AI and automation roadmaps to scale pilots into embedded capabilities.
• Contribute to governance considerations for responsible use of AI and automation in shared services.
• Develop client deliverables such as meeting materials, workplans, status reports, business cases, and presentations for workshops.
• Support project management, stakeholder coordination, change adoption, communications, and training activities.
• Contribute to proposal development, pursuit activities, knowledge sharing, and practice development.

Our Global Business Services (GBS) team serves as a trusted advisor to chief financial officers, chief accounting officers, and other executive stakeholders leading captive and outsourced operations. We help clients modernize Finance, Human Resources, Technology, Procurement, and other enterprise functions through operating model design, governance, process transformation, and technology-enabled solutions.

GBS organizations are increasingly becoming enterprise hubs for AI-enabled decision-making, resilience, and growth. We help clients modernize operations through ERP enablement, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI. This work helps organizations improve financial and operational performance, manage risk, strengthen service delivery, and increase the business value delivered by GBS organizations.

Work You'll Do

As a Consultant, Global Business Services, you will support strategic transformation initiatives that improve operating model effectiveness, service delivery, and functional performance. You will:

• Support client engagements focused on Global Business Services, shared services, outsourcing, and enterprise operating model transformation.

• Analyze current-state operations, governance structures, service delivery models, and functional processes across Finance and other enterprise functions.

• Support the design of future-state operating models and processes that incorporate ERP, workflow, automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities.

• Research and evaluate generative AI, agentic AI, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics use cases relevant to GBS service delivery.

• Help document hybrid human-AI workflows, including where work is best performed by people, automation, or AI agents.

• Support the development of AI and automation roadmaps that help clients move from point-solution pilots toward scalable, embedded capabilities.

• Contribute to governance considerations for the responsible use of AI and automation in shared services environments.

• Develop client deliverables, including meeting materials, workplans, status reports, business cases, storyboards, and presentations for workshops and executive discussions.

• Support project management, stakeholder coordination, change adoption, communications, and training activities.

• Contribute to proposal development, pursuit activities, knowledge sharing, and practice development.

• Collaborate with Deloitte teams across the US, US India, and global member firms.

• Exposure to GBS or Global Capability Center AI-maturity assessments, adoption strategies, or transformation roadmaps.

• Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, or certification in project management, Lean Six Sigma, or Prosci.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,600 to $188,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
