Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Senior Consultant to act as a high-level strategic advisor and subject matter expert for government transformation initiatives in Washington, DC. The role oversees complex projects, drives business process re-engineering, and coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver on schedule while adhering to DHS and customer standards.

The position emphasizes executive coaching, policy interpretation, and delivering concise executive-level reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP certification (Department of Homeland Security) or equivalent.
• (DHS) mid-level Project Management certification or equivalent.
• At least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
• At least twelve (12) years with a Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance for high-visibility, executive-level projects.
• Lead process design and organizational re-engineering to modernize workflows.
• Direct and manage high-complexity projects with strict timelines and resources.
• Coordinate all task contributors and partner entities for collaboration.
• Conduct rigorous quality control to ensure outputs meet requirements.
