This consultant will primarily help work down an existing ticket backlog while also providing support for system optimization and upgrades. The ideal candidate will bring strong Epic Revenue Cycle experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently manage application issues and enhancement requests.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp work down the existing Epic Estimates and Financial Assistance ticket backlogTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues and support ticketsSupport Epic optimization initiatives and system upgradesIdentify opportunities to improve current workflows, configuration, and end-user experiencePartner with operational and technical stakeholders to understand issues and recommend solutionsPerform application configuration, testing, validation, and documentation as neededRequirementsCurrent Epic certification in a Revenue Cycle application is requiredStrong hands-on experience supporting and/or implementing Epic Revenue Cycle applicationsExperience troubleshooting application issues and working through support ticket backlogsExperience with Epic application configuration, testing, and optimizationAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple issues and requestsPrior Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization experiencePreferred QualificationsEpic Estimates and/or Financial Assistance badge strongly preferredDirect hands-on experience with Epic Estimates and Financial Assistance workflowsExperience supporting Revenue Cycle optimization and upgrade initiativesConsulting experience within complex healthcare organizationsExperience managing high-volume application support or ticket queuesThe estimated base hourly rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
