Job summary

Slalom, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant/Principal Consultant to lead the delivery of business and technology projects from scoping to completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and risks, and apply AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.

The role emphasizes onsite work in the DC-Chesapeake area with a hybrid/onsite delivery model, and requires strong stakeholder management, communication, and industry experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, and program management in consulting or enterprise environments.
• Proven success delivering business or technology solutions across diverse industries; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of delivery methodologies and project governance.
• Experience applying AI-enabled tools to streamline delivery workflows and enhance team productivity.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of business and technology projects across industries, ensuring alignment with client goals and Slalom's delivery standards.

• Manage project execution, including resource coordination, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models depending on client context and project needs.
• Leverage AI tools and techniques (e.g., generative AI for documentation, predictive analytics for risk and timeline forecasting, automation for reporting) to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Support business development efforts through scoping, estimation, and proposal contributions.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, and program management, with a background in managing technical projects in consulting or enterprise environments.
• Proven success delivering business or technology solutions across diverse industries. Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of delivery methodologies and project governance.
• Experience applying AI-enabled tools to streamline delivery workflows and enhance team productivity.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Consultant is $125,000-$155,000. The targeted base salary pay range for Principal Consultant is $160,000-$190,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
