Amazon Redshift Production Support Engineer responsible for day-to-day administration, monitoring, performance tuning, incident management, and operational support of enterprise-scale Redshift data warehouse environments. The role involves ensuring platform stability, availability, security, and optimal performance while supporting business-critical analytics workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 support for Amazon Redshift clusters.
• Monitor cluster health, availability, and performance.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and production support coverage.
• Perform issue triage and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Coordinate with application, ETL, cloud, and infrastructure teams during incidents.
• Maintain SLA compliance for incident resolution and service requests.
• Provision and configure Redshift clusters.
• Manage cluster upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Perform node replacement and cluster resizing activities.
• Configure workload management (WLM) queues.
• Manage snapshots and backup strategies.
• Restore clusters during failures or DR testing.
• Implement parameter group and cluster configuration changes.
