Our firm is currently seeking an experienced Software Developer for the role of Senior Consultant, Data Engineer.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional communication skills who thrives in a highly collaborative workplace. This person will actively engage with team members to drive project and customer success.

Candidate must demonstrate strong skills in personal ownership and accountability, technical expertise, team building, organization, prioritization, problem solving, and communication.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Designing & Developing Solutions: Apply skills to design, develop, and test data systems and solutions, often in a team environment.
2. Iterative, Agile Workflows: Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Support the Product Owner during the development process.
3. Team Collaboration: Work with team members and clients to determine requirements for new data systems, demonstrating teamwork and problem solving.
4. Other: Contribute to various firm-building activities and wear multiple hats as needed.

Required Criteria:

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• 7+ years of related technical experience.
• Experience in SQL, database design and modeling, ETL pipelines.
• Experience with development tools, IDEs, DevOps, and programming languages like .NET, C#, or Python.
• Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player willing to contribute actively.
• Self-starter, positive, and high integrity.
• Ability to work remotely with a high degree of autonomy.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with cloud data tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Experience with SQL Server administration.
• Experience with analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with AI/ML and data science models.
• Familiarity with JIRA/Atlassian or similar tools.
